JESS TANNER
Hello & Welcome

My name is Jess, I'm an artist, ecotherapist and facilitator living in the Black Mountains, Wales.

About my practice...

My transdisciplinary approach brings together participatory practice, ecological thinking, and artistic research. Working across outdoor movement, site-sensitive performance, and moving image, I explore how embodied, artistic practices can deepen our relationships with place, and support the flourishing of both human and more-than-human wellbeing.
A bit about me.....

As a queer person living and working rurally, I am interested in what can be learned from more marginalised perspectives, how we create more inclusive narratives, and how 'other ways of knowing' can help us better understand and navigate these times of ecological uncertainty.
Grounded in my own lived experience, my work is shaped by the fluid, often unruly terrain of identity, of reclaiming connections with landscape, and by an ongoing commitment to a life of becoming.

Let's connect....
Thank you for arriving here. If you're interested in any of the work I offer, whether ecotherapy, mentoring, arts & health facilitation, or a creative collaboration, then let's begin a conversation. You are welcome to get in touch here.
Who I work with....
I work with both individuals and groups, where my arts and therapeutic practice spans one-one ecotherapy sessions, creative mentoring, and through my work as a nature, health and wellbeing facilitator. I have designed and facilitated workshops for NHS healthcare staff, mental health organisations, LGBTQ+ groups, and within a variety of community arts & health contexts.
